Oliver Pepin was born in 2000 and raised in Lawrence, Kansas. He creates photographs and videos that incorporate generative emergent software models with surreal and psychedelic aesthetics. He enjoys teaching and has involved himself in art and tech workshops in his hometown. He received a BFA in Design in the spring of 2024, with a concentration in photography, from the University of Kansas. His work has been exhibited in the Edgar Heap of Birds gallery and in Final Friday shows. He also received a travel grant award to go to the Society for Photographic Education national conference and present his portfolio to working professors.
